Requirements
Candidates should possess at least 4 years of product design experience, building digital products, and demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex design concepts. They should also exhibit a can-do attitude, a strong sense of ownership, and utilize both qualitative feedback and quantitative data to guide design decisions, focusing on user needs while also propelling business growth. A keen interest in cybersecurity, data privacy, and related fields, along with the ability to comfortably embrace the highly technical nature of Nord's products, is required, as well as fluency in English and a portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work.
Responsibilities
The Mid-Senior Product Designer will be responsible for designing and prototyping intuitive web interfaces, dashboards, and smooth, effective product experiences, combining design thinking and brand guidelines to innovate while ensuring consistency and usability across internal platforms. They will collaborate with the wider Design Team to evolve internal design systems, communicate clearly with product managers and stakeholders, own every stage of the design cycle, conduct product research and usability testing, actively participate in continuously improving internal design processes, and balance multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards. Additionally, the designer will provide and receive feedback from teammates and stakeholders, and contribute to the design culture within the company.
